At PRS Consulting Services, our clients' expectations for quality are consistently met or exceeded. We employ a quality management system that is strong, flexible and continuously improving in compliance with the ISO 9001:2008 & based on SEI SW-CMM model. The system is a comprehensive repository of best practices, defect prevention mechanisms, metrics, risks and reusable components. The system helps all processes, including the software development lifecycle and project management processes. Our India Development Center has the distinction of achieving the ISO 9001:2008 certification and complies to Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model (SEI SW-CMM) Level 5. It helps in forming well defined and documented procedures which improve the consistency of output. It results in improved product reliability, fewer nonconforming products, less rework, lowered rejection rates, streamlined processes and fewer mistakes. It also brings in better process control & flow.

Exceptional Quality Directly Benefits Clients

The Focus of PRS Consulting Services's quality policy and process is to ensure that we deliver ‘Customer Satisfaction' by making our software and services defect free. We achieve our quality by ensuring the quality of both the processes and the products independently.

Being an ISO 9001:2008 certified organization; PRS Consulting Services's India Development Center maintains an exceptionally well-structured project repository. It also has clearly defined modes and forums for communication, as well as predefined roles and expectations.
Quality Methodology

How does having an ISO 9001:2008 system benefit us from an external standpoint?

  • Satisfies the demands of current or prospective customers for registration.
  • Improves customer focus. We focus controls on management of the processes that enable us to achieve and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Boost international acceptance and credibility. ISO 9001 is known, recognized, and accepted without question. ISO 9001 is accredited not only by ANAB in the United States, but by accreditation bodies in virtually every country in the world.
  • Facilitates continual improvement. It sounds like a cliche, but it really is true. Continuous improvement on your Quality Management Systems and processes help improve the reliability of your internal operations to meet customer requirements.

How does having an ISO 9001:2008 system benefit us from an internal standpoint?

  • Transforms your operation from detection mode to prevention mode. Prevention is less work and less expense than detection. With an ISO 9001:2008 management system, you prevent product nonconformities.
  • Creates consistency throughout the organization built around "best practices".
  • Improves business performance. A well designed, well implemented ISO 9001:2008 compliant management system can help improve satisfaction of customers and consumers and boost internal manufacturing and operational efficiencies.
  • Lessens dependency on key individuals. An ISO 9001:2008 management system distributes responsibility and accountability across the work force. More people share more information and accountability for key quality tasks.
    • Result: tasks or processes don't collapse just because one person leaves or changes jobs.
    • Each person carries his or her small share of the load.
  • Provides blueprint for controlled, disciplined growth. Some organizations see ISO 9001:2008 management systems as a way to organize the business, systematize practices, and ensure management accountability as the organization expands.
  • Ensures consistent training. An ISO 9001:2008 system is like a collection of road maps. Each road map provides direction from one end of a process to the other. New people to the process are trained using the road map. They refer to the road map while they're learning. Their performance is tested against the road map. And once they know their process, they don't need to refer to the road map anymore. Except when the process changes, in which case the road map changes and people are retrained to it.
  • Improves management oversight. An effective ISO 9001:2008 management system incorporates monitoring and measurement of key quality performance indicators. This gives management objective data upon which to base decisions. The required self-auditing function is even more powerful. Internal auditing is an "early warning system" to help you spot problems that could impact customer satisfaction or operating efficiency – giving you the chance to address and resolve them before they are detected by others, rather than after. And then management review provides management with solid data, enabling management to make decisions based on facts and evidence.
